Expressions India technically supported the Annual Orientation course in, "Clinical Psychiatry and Allied Behavioral Sciences for the Family Physicians" organized by Indian Association for Mind body Medicine (IAMBM), Indian Medical Association (IMA) - South Delhi Branch & Moolchand Medcity (January - February 2008).

Such orientation courses in Clinical Psychiatry and allied behavioural sciences (including basic counselling skills) have been ongoing for last seven years for specified target groups and in collaboration with agencies like Indian Academy of Paediatricians (IAP), Indian Medical Association (IMA) - New Delhi, G.B. Pant Hospital etc.

The audience of general practitioners, paediatricians, gynaecologists, surgeons, ENT and nursing staff were oriented to common mental health issues, psychiatric conditions, medical, psycho-social interventions and basic counselling skills.

'Expressions India' has conducted Counsellor Training and Refresher programmes for NPSC schools in the NCR region (2005-2007) as part of School Mental Health initiatives of National Progressive School Conference.

The School Counselor's upgradation and refresher programmes for the Educational and Vocational Guidance Counsellors (EVGC) of the Delhi State Government were carried out by 'Expressions India' during 1999-2002.

Periodic sensitization courses in mental health and counselling are held for the student nursing staff from Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing and Moolchand Nursing College.

Comprehensive training workshop on Counseling Skills in Adolescent Sexuality & Reproductive Health was conducted for school teachers, counselors, health workers associated with adolescent population during VII Biennial Conference of Indian Association of Child & Adolescent Mental Health (IACAM) Nov. - 2003, New Delhi

This intensive program covers several imperative issues such as Legal and Policy Issues in Educational Leadership & Right to Education Act (RTE), Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) and National Curriculum Framework 2005/ Child Rights.
In addition Principals, Vice Principals, Headmistresses, Management & Academic heads, Senior Administrative Staff, Counselors learn about their Leadership Styles, their role in Conflict Management, Effective Communication, Parent School Partnership, Quality Enhancement of Schools, Formative and Summative Assessment & Inclusive Education.

As per direction from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (JNV), Expressions India has been selected for conducting One Day Training on Gender Sensitization & Counseling for the Principals of various NVS across the country. In the one month period this work has been carried forward in 18 schools in different regions of India and has included enthusiastic participation from Shimla, Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Ranchi, Bangalore, Indore etc.
